DECORATE & MOVE PROGRAM 

is a creative and educational program for children 2-5yrs old.

Your child will be taken on an adventure in a 45 minute class in an environment full of creativity! 

Through a mixture of activities that includes Art and Craft , Music and Movement, Circle Time and Story time focusing on developing socially, physically, cognitively and emotionally!

 

Mission:

Children will be enriched in a creative setting and given the opportunity to experience Arts and Crafts, Music and Movement.

"Decorate & Move” incorporates the Early Years Learning Framework into each aspect of our program:

Belonging, Being and Becoming

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is the national early education framework for children aged from birth to five years. The aim of the framework is to ensure that all children receive quality education programs.

A typical class:

 

Welcome Song: Every class begins by looking and talking about our weekly theme and singing our Welcome song.

Children gather together with Parent/Carer involvement fostering new friendships.

 

Art and Craft time: Children will explore a new Art/Craft theme every week following our Term Based program. Children will participate in activities such as: Painting, Stamping, Pasting, Paper crafts, Beading, and much more!

Each activity enhances their Fine Motor, Creativity and Exploration Skills. The children learn problem solving, enhance their experimentation and imaginative abilities. Children will place their artworks on the drying rack and a Keepsake Folder will be given at the end of the Term with all of your child's artwork.

 

Movement time: Children and Parent/Caregiver will join the mat area for various Circle Time activities, Dance activities, Musical Instruments opportunity, Yoga Movements and much more! Children will develop their Gross Motor Skills through learning balance and coordination. Children will also participate in chants, songs and rhymes. This is excellent for their language and social skills.

 

Story time: Every class ends with a storybook from the weekly theme captivating the children's attention and recalling similar events from the daily class. Listening to stories enhances language and speech development. Remember, Children learn best through participation so our storybooks are interactive and full of imagination!

PLEASE NOTE All classes require a minimum of 4 students for the class to run.

REGISTRATION FEE

 

A Registration Fee of $30.00 per child is to be paid to Decorati prior to the start of the first class your child is enrolled in.

 

This fee covers the following:

• Administration

• Insurance

• Music Licensing

• Enrolment Package

 

Enrolment package includes:

• Welcome letter and information

• Decorati Apron (required to be worn during required time in class)

• Keepsake folder

• $5.00 voucher to be used at your next booking of a special event organised by Decorati

Accompanying Sibling/Twin Additional $5.00 per class

HOW TO ENROL YOUR CHILD

Please come into our centre and complete an Enrolment form and pay full fees.

If classes are full you will be placed on the waiting list.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• Decorati reserves the right to refuse entry.

• Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation.

• Please encourage children to wear comfortable clothing suitable, socks and closed shoes.

• Please do not feed your child directly before the class.

• Students may bring a water bottle to class.

Cancellation/Refund policy: 

• We do not give refunds if you change your mind or if the day doesn’t suit. (Refunds may be requested due to an unexpected family move or serious illness necessitating withdrawal from class and will be considered on a case by case basis)

• If there are insufficient students, or if an instructor has an emergency Decorati reserves the right to cancel the class, you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and you will receive a full refund for the one class.

No show policy: 

Absence to a class is not refundable.
